10th Annual Starlight Film Festival

There is only one organization in Bruce and Grey brave enough to invited 400 teens to spend from midnight until 7:30 am watching movies and eating bottomless pop and popcorn….to raise funds for children and youth projects….that organization is the United Way of Bruce Grey!.

Utilizing the Internet for research can be both fruitful and fraught with distraction all at the same time.  It’s so easy to leap from thought to thought as you are deep in a thought, and somehow you start at a research council and end up watching a cat play the piano on YouTube.

Awards Night at the Movies - Winner!

 Tickets are $25 each, and avaliable by calling 519 376 1560, Mastercard and VISA accepted. What a perfect Christmas gift, the gift of all the stars in the Galaxy! The 3rd Annual Awards Night at the Movies is an evening long gala event centering around the broadcast of the 84th Academy Awards. While there is no formal dress code, 2010 and 2011 attendees eagerly got into the spirit of the Red Carpet knowing that paparazzi would be on site.

National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women

December 6

December 6 is the National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women in Canada. Established in 1991 by the Parliament of Canada, this day marks the anniversary of the murders in 1989 of 14 young women at l'École Polytechnique de Montréal. They died because they were women.
