Our Certified Information and Referral Specialists are caring, understanding and knowledgeable, and pride themselves on their ability to connect you with the services you need.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Hanover & District is in the business of changing lives and we’re proud to be a United Way Agency. We offer several programs that match youth who need a mentor with a caring adult. Our agency provides the professional support and guidance to ensure that our matches are successful and benefit both the youth we serve and their adult mentors.

The Canadian Mental Health Association provides programs and services that support the resilience and recovery of people experiencing mental disorders, and to enhance, maintain, and promote the mental and emotional health of all individuals in Grey and Bruce Counties.

The Children’s Aid Society assists, enriches and provides a positive impact on the lives' of children residing in Bruce and Grey County.

Durham and District Food Bank provides food to families and individuals in need.  The coverage area is West Grey and Southgate.  The number of people seeking assistance from our agency has increased tremendously.

 The United Way provides our agency with core funding so that we may attempt to meet the nutritional needs of people in our community.  Without the help of the United Way we would not be able to provide items required to fill a food hamper 

Epilepsy is a chronic, neurological condition characterized by recurrent seizures. A seizure happens when abnormal electrical activity in the brain causes an involuntary change in the person's awareness or behavior. Epilepsy is diagnosed when a person has had two or more seizures that cannot be attributed to some other condition.

Grey Bruce Eat & Learn supports 73 student nutrition programs in Grey and Bruce county schools. Eat and Learn schools receives a small provincial grant from the Ministry of Children and Youth Services to help purchase the food served at the school breakfast, lunch and snack programs. We actively seek community support to make up the shortfall in the food budget.

Keystone is a voluntary non-profit prevention and counselling agency that has been providing help to children, youth and families in Bruce and Grey counties since 1974. 

Safe N Sound provides 4 basic services. They arrange and coordinate Emergency Shelter Services for people who find themselves without lodging, food, or transportation. They operate a resource centre where people can access a host of services which include: the internet, telephone, laundry, showers, and kitchen; case work and counselling; personal and household items.
