Safe N Sound Homelessness Initiative

Safe N Sound provides 4 basic services. They arrange and coordinate Emergency Shelter Services for people who find themselves without lodging, food, or transportation. They operate a resource centre where people can access a host of services which include: the internet, telephone, laundry, showers, and kitchen; case work and counselling; personal and household items.

 The United Way works with Safe N Sound as a community partner, collaborating on projects designed to help the homeless, and at risk of becoming homeless. The United Way also lends financial support to augment our existing fund and grant infrastructure, as well as supplying emergency financial support to ensure Safe N Sound can maintain its services to the homeless population.
