Bruce Grey Child and Family Services

Bruce Grey Child and Family Services  assists, enriches and provides a positive impact on the lives' of children residing in Bruce and Grey County.

Bruce Grey Child and Family Services has four main programs: Christmas Hampers, Adopt-A-Family, Summer Camp and College Bursaries. They also have run three smaller programs: Smoke Detectors and Batteries, Special Requests and Hug-A-Bears for Traumatized children.

United Way has helps fund the Special Request program. The special request program is for all those things that children need but simply cannot afford along with admission prevention items. If a parent risks losing a child due to only poverty related issues (lack of hot water, lack of a car seat etc) this fund helps to provide these necessities.
