Canadian Mental Health Association – Grey Bruce Branch

The Canadian Mental Health Association provides programs and services that support the resilience and recovery of people experiencing mental disorders, and to enhance, maintain, and promote the mental and emotional health of all individuals in Grey and Bruce Counties.

United Way of Bruce Grey funds Grey Bruce Friends and Neighbours (FAN) Club program.  The FAN Club is a children’s mental health awareness puppet program that uses child-sized puppets to talk to children ages 4 to 11 about issues affecting them.

The United Way funds “Let’s Talk” program, a two-visit mental health awareness program for grades 7 to 12 to talk about mental health and mental illness.  The United Way funding provides snacks for the youth as we all know one way to a youth’s participation is through their stomach!

United Way of Bruce Grey funds The Brunch Program, a 'soup kitchen' for the community that provides one hot meal at day.  The program also grows its own vegetables at the United Way's property
